The Quench Ice Cream Drink is an awesome beverage inspired by the beloved “Balang” drink commonly found at bazaars in Singapore and Malaysia. These drinks, known for their rich flavors and premium pricing, were often high in sugar and exclusive to bazaar settings. Recognizing the need for a more accessible, affordable, and lower-sugar alternative, we set out on a mission to bring these delicious flavors to everyone, anytime, and anywhere. Essentially, the Quench Ice Cream Drink is like having a Balang in a convenient tin, capturing the essence of the original drink in a portable and refreshing form that caters to a wider audience. After months of meticulous research and development, we are thrilled to introduce the Quench Ice Cream Drink, a refreshing and indulgent treat that embodies the spirit of the traditional Balang drink.

The founders of Quench, Haikkel and Luqmaan, were running The SGFR Store, known for introducing popular international snacks to Singapore. However, the challenge arose when larger distributors began undercutting our prices after following our success on TikTok. To maintain control over our products and distribution, we decided to create our own unique product, ensuring that once it gained popularity, it couldn’t be easily replicated.
